Breakfast pizza

So I’ve totally been slackin’ with this blog for the past while. Theres just a lot going on. Excuses, excuses; I already know. but oh well im still doing what I need to be doing so nobodys¬†trippin’ ūüėõ

Anyway the other night I was watching The Biggest Loser and they made this breakfast pizza. Only problem I had with it, is Im¬†not the type of person that can eat any kind of veggies on their pizza. It just makes me sick to my stomach. Soooooooo, I made my own and it came out bomb-tacular, and only 301 calories for both of them. ūüôā

What you need:
Sandwich Slims: 1 think bun- 90 calories.
Shredded Cheese: 1/3 cup- 110 calories.
Taco Bell Sauce: 2 tsp- 0 calories.
Hormel pepperonis: 2- 48 calories.
Egg Yolks: 2- 53 calories.

Now for the easy part toast your bread, add a tsp of taco bell sauce on each bread. Then split your cheese up between the two breads and add your pepperoni on each. Now just cook 2 sunny side up eggs, cut the egg whites off and place on top¬†of your pizza.¬†If you have some cheese left over¬†then add it to the¬†top. As well as salt & pepper and put in¬†the¬†oven until the cheese melts¬†c: It should only be about 5 minutes and then PRESTO! You have¬†a breakfast pizza without all¬†the nasty¬†veggies. I mean,¬†veggies are¬†good¬†just not on pizza.¬†¬†Cheap in calories, and pretty easy to make, oh and not expensive at all. ūüėÄ

Day 22: How do you keep yourself motivated to get up every day to complete your challenge?
I honestly dont know, I just know when its time to get my butt in gear and get moving.

Day 23: Have you influenced anyone to try this 30-day workout challenge?
A couple of people. Like my sister and a couple of my friends. Im not sure there keeping up with it, but I tried ūüôā

Day 24: Would you rather workout while watching T.V. or just listening to some tunes?
I would defiantly rather jam out to some hardcore music than watch tv, but these past couple workouts Ive¬†been watching breaking bad since my phone erased everything, and ive actually been even more of a beast…. so Im not sure, im on the fence with that one. ūüôā

Marlena, off of makeup geek ūüôā Because she lost so much weight on her own and it was just so inspiring!

Day 15: You are half way there how are you feeling?!
Great! ūüėÄ

Day 16: Do you smoke? Drink?
Yes I smoke & drink on the rare occasion.

Day 17: Post your workout attire and share to us why you prefer those items.
 Pants & a shirt. Because I dont want to go naked O_O ahah.

Day 18: Do you work out inside an air conditioned room?
HELL YEAH! I couldn’t do it without ac! Lol

Day 19: Are you considering getting a club/gym membership?
I already have one! ūüėÄ

Day 20:  What are you favourite snacks to munch on after working out?
Fiber One- Coconut protein bar.

Day 21: they said it takes 21 days to develop a habit. How are you with your workout challenge?
Yeah, im definitely addicted! ūüėÄ

Alright so Ive¬†been¬†M.I.A¬†for a while,¬†which sucks¬†because I like to¬†be on here as much¬†as possible. But with all the family drama going on I havent had the time to be¬†glued to the computer¬†after my¬†workouts. I’ve¬†been so busy and probably about to get busier here pretty soon, but of course im also having fun at the¬†same time being with the¬†entire family. So I didnt¬†give up¬†It just took me a minute to¬†get it in gear. Although I have been eating garbage….¬†literally¬†it¬†sucks that I keep doing it, but I do. So Im at 20 pounds lost now!¬†Still good, so im not gonna let myself get bummed out about it ūüėÄ

Oh happy day!

So today was a very happy day for me! I actually was able to fit into my old best friends work shirt. Dont get me wrong I was able to fit this shirt before, obviously or I wouldn’t have it, but while I worked at Sonic I had gained so much weight I wasn’t able to fit in this shirt anymore. Seriously, being able to fit in this shirt again is a huge confidence booster. It makes me so proud that all my hard work and dedication is actually showing me progress!

Day 10’s question:¬† Can you feel a change in energy level after 2 weeks of consistently working out?
Since I had my break, it sadly wasnt a straight 10 days in a row. But this past week it wasnt hard getting back up and working out. I wanted to do it. Its weird to say, but I actually missed working out! I never would have imagined me, Kayla Morton, would miss working out. What?! Unreal. Some days I go slower than others, but I still get it done and thats what matters.

Oh on another note today I started drinking this fat burning tea thing before breakfast. It was a weightloss tip that ekamaseca, one of my pals on myfitnesspal, has suggested. “Weight loss tip-¬† To reduce weight, daily drink a mixture of a teaspoon of honey with half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder boiled in water with an empty stomach in the morning about half an hour before breakfast.¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬† Instructions: 1. Dissolve half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder (or ground cinnamon) in a cup of boiling water. 2. Stir and cover for half an hour. 3. Filter away any big particles and add a teaspoon of honey. 4. Take it in the morning with an empty stomach about half an hour before breakfast. Repeat for a few weeks to see results.”

I seriously love this tea! I even had some after dinner, and Im thinking of even making another glass! Even though I was scared to try something new (like I am) but I did. It is worth a try, plus its amazing drink that hopefully will give me great results. ūüôā

Bad eating day…

So, although I was under my calorie goal I ate way too much in my opinion. For some reason I just was so hungry today, and I’m¬†thinking it’s because¬†I’m¬†quitting smoking. I didnt¬†eat any¬†“bad”¬†foods, I just couldnt get full!¬†Not smoking as much is¬†the¬†only thing I did differently, besides eating oatmeal this morning. Mom told me never eat oatmeal in the morning, because you’ll be hungry all day. I didn’t believe her, but today I do. Maybe everyone just has those days of relapsing. Luckily I still have 300 calories left, and im DONE eating. Thank God for Subway their sandwiches really fill a person up or I dont know where I would have ended up calorie wise. Ha.

Day 9’s question: What is your favourite workout drink? Why?
Water. Water. WATER!
Which is weird, because honestly im one of those people who dislike water and live off of diet soda but while im working out my body just craves water. Thats probably my body telling me that I need to drink more water, but thats just going to be something I have to learn over time. Im ready to give up junk food, but diet soda is going to be as hard (if not harder) than quitting smoking.

I guess everyone has bad habits. Whats yours? ūüôā

Eating healthy.

Day 8’s question: Do you eat healthy while on this challenge?
I eat as “healthy” as possible. Some things I eat aren’t¬†really healthy, but I make sure that I’m¬†still under my calorie goal at the end of the day. With the help of Myfitnesspal. At night sometimes I do crave¬†chocolate like a mad women so I made some delicious brownies, at only 111 calories a brownie! The ultimate challenge is getting yourself to only eat 1! ūüėõ At first I honestly despised¬†my dad and my brother for being able to eat whatever they want, and not gain anything but now I don’t¬†really care. Because it’s not¬†like I can’t¬†have those things that they are eating, I just can’t¬†have as much. I honestly see nothing wrong with that. As long as im under my calorie goal I think ill be good. At the same time though I do eat as healthy as possible, like ive said before. It’s not¬†such a chore now that im used to measuring, and weighing everything. It’s actually… dare I say a little enjoyable? I’ve always been one to enjoy spending a lot of time in the kitchen though cooking any and everything and counting calories does take a bit of time, but that doesn’t bother me at all.

This is the breakfast I eat practically every day.
2 pieces of Wheat Toast- 140 calories
5 pieces of Canadian Bacon- 60 calories
2 Large Egg Whites- 34 calories

Who knew 1 sick day would turn into an entire week? Oh my gosh. I seriously had no idea. That sucks, because within that week I also gained that 4 pounds back that I lost :\ sucks.. but I got this so now that I’m¬†feeling a little better I’m¬†back in gear and picking up where¬†I left off. Thats¬†all I can do at this point. I mean it sucks, but at the same time my life isn’t¬†all about weight loss.. I actually want to live my life too. So if my sister comes down and we want to go out to eat, im just going to have to learn how to order healthier. But im glad that happened so I can teach myself for next time. Seriously, its hard to pass up enchladias from your favorite mexican resturant.. I really dont even want to know how many calories are in that. Anyway, so im back in gear I was just sick. Luckily I got to see my sister and we spent some much needed girl time together. I didnt realize how much I missed living with my big sissy. Also, I made 15 bucks an hour painting faces and doing balloon animals.¬†I wasnt even that great.. but the kids kept comming so thats always good.

Day 7’s question: Are you looking forward to your workout tomorrow? Why?
Yes I am, because I have had a week without doing anything. I just know Im gonna beast it, because honestly I missed working out. I was so jealous of my mom being able to go to the gym and me just being sick.

The flu this year is insane! Seriously, I dont think I have ever been that sick in my life. Honestly I still have a cough and runnie nose, but its not near as bad as when I first got hit. I couldnt stay awake, but when I would try to sleep I couldnt because I couldnt breath. Then I got both of my ears infected.. So yeah. Weird sickness.

Everyone has those days…

With me being as sick as I am right now I had to skip out on the gym today. I don’t¬†want to take the risk of getting anyone else sick, or making my sickness any worse.¬†Sadly. I am totally bummed, and¬†feeling like a total loser since I just had the weekend off.¬†Yesterday I was okay enough to¬†hit the gym, but¬†my cold is just getting worse and I am only running on two and a half hours of sleep since I couldn’t¬†breathe¬†at all last night. So today I suck, but I still ate¬†under my calorie goal. So I guess im not so¬†terrible. Hopefully tonight I can catch up on some much-needed sleep, and get my sleeping schedule back on track since I have been going to bed at about 2am and waking up at 1pm. A normal teenager yeah, but not okay for me since I have so much to do during the day. Believe it or not! Ha.
