Our universe as a computer simulation.

Imagine if you woke up one day, and were told that your entire life is just a video game. Actually, not just your entire life but the entire universe. Personally I would think that the most epic thing ever. Haven’t you ever played the game Sims even ever thought “what if life was just a sims game, inside a sims game, inside a sims game…”? You get the drift right? That would mean that your “God” is really just the person playing the game making your life shit… or making it good of course. Also, that the worlds not going to end every 5 minutes. Seriously, I’ve only been alive for 17 years and the worlds almost “ended” like 4 times already. Calm down people.

Well, as I was reading the news today I saw a little epic story. Apparently scientist are doing experiments to discover whether or not our entire universe is just a very large computer simulation. The physicists will be looking at the distribution of the highest energy cosmic rays in order to try to detect patterns that could suggest that the universe is the creation of some futuristic computer technology, http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/news-by-industry/et-cetera/universe-exists-within-a-computer-simulation-from-the-future/articleshow/17637990.cms. If all this happens to be true and we are just little characters in a video game… Researchers might already have a way to “cheat”, I suppose we could call it that. Basically they have already found a way to mess with our creators, and nobody knows if its even true or not. Epic win.

Now, this may be totally impossible, but then again in this world anything is possible. Don’t be so closed-minded. Even though it sounds completely and utterly insane I think that’s what makes it so awesome. That something that insane has a slight possibility of being true. Its things like this why I don’t personally have a religion. With all the possibilities in the world how could one religion be true? I believe in a higher power. & apparently that higher power could be my creator 😉 haha.

A lot of people probably think it’s a waste of time & money, but I don’t. I believe that’s the beauty of science.
Anywho, that was just something in the news I actually found intresting today.
Thanks for reading if your here.
